Beschreibung

1964 Rolls Royce Phantom V James Young PV22
Chassis number: 5VB27
Registratin number: NLX668V
A magnificent & rare James Young Rolls Royce Phantom V to the elegant PV22 design. This car was ordered by Marks & Spencer in January of 1963 for the use of their Chairman Lord Marks, with the car being delivered to him in March 0f 1964. It has since then covered just 91,000 documented miles from new.
The car is finished in its original colour of Midnight blue with the paint being in wonderful condition throughout as a result of always having been garaged. To the interior is original beige conolly hide to the front with West of England cloth to the rear as supplied new and all being in excellent condition.
The rear division is of stunningly figured burr walnut with twin fold out picnic tables & also twin fold out occasional seats making this car a true 7 seat vehicle. A cocktail cabinet is mounted in the middle of the division bulkhead with twin decanters & cut glass tumblers. The decanters are filled with aged Calvados distilled at the current owners Chateau.
This car is rare, sought after & the epitome of elegance amongst the varying body styles produced on the Phantom V chassis. It is well suited to either an owner driver, or as a car to be driven in. The car comes to us with a big history file attesting to careful maintenance by its previous owners. We are giving it an annual full service prior to releasing it to the next lucky owner.
On the road the car drives beautifully wafting one down the road in unruffled silence. To drive one of these in good order is a pleasure indeed.
