The Aurelia can be called a symbol of the stylistic and technical excellence of the Italian automobile industry. You notice this as soon as the hood opens: the famous, matching numbers alloy 2.5L V6 gleams with glory with a Nardi radiator pipe and twin Weber 40DCL5 carburetors on a cast aluminum Nardi intake manifold. This setup was an expensive option at the time, and thus very sought after and rare on these cars today. The engine starts perfectly and runs like a winch.
