A 70's car in this condition is so rare to find! Lovely new paint, beautiful trim, a very original interior and technically perfect.

The best 2002 available!

The best 2002 we've seen in ages. This BMW 2002 with VIN 3679112 was built on the 19th of April '74 and delivered to BMW Italia S.p.A on the 3rd of March '74. Delivered new in the color 036 Riviera blue - quite a rare color. The interior is original in parchment / light-gray cloth and vinyl. A very original 2002, something that has become quite rare. A beautifully straight body, original wings, doors, panels. Engine-bay and trunk in factory paint and and all original interior. We have bought this car from the Napels area in Italy earlier this year.

The body has never been welded, its wearing all original body-panels and profits from a beautiful repaint recently. Done to a very high standard, no tape-marks, lovely finish. The body is incredibly straight with perfect shutlines. We have fitted the car with a complete set of new beltline trim. Also the lower black trim is new as well as the sill trim. The front and rear window seals are new and fitted with new filler trim. The bumpers show beautiful chrome and the rubber trim on the front and rear bumper are new. Lovely bright headlights and shining rear taillights. A lovely 2002 in a stunning condition.

The interior is beautiful and all original. Original grey vinyl on the seats and rear seat. Very clean and looked after. The carpet is very clean and all original. On top a set of high quality sisal floormats. The doorpanels are straight as an arrow and the center console is all original. It even shows the original seatbelts. 

The engine bay is just as original and kept up to date. All original paint and decals. The engine is the original, matching numbers 2,0L unit. The engine has been rebuilt, runs like a champ goes eager through the revs. The original 4-speed gearbox shifts excellent, very tight and silent.

The trunk shows all original body and paintwork. The wooden panels have been reupholstered with the grey vinyl. The car sits on a restored set of 13" Italian-market BMW / Momo wheels with new emblems, nuts and new tires. 

The undercarriage is exceptional. Very clean, never welded or repaired and showing original floors, sills, jack-points and fantastic wheel wells. A quality that is only to be found in dry climates.

We have gone through this car bumper-to-bumper and invested over 100 hours.
