General information:
This model was homologated as the successor to the Bicarburatore for the Formula 3 racing class of the time. The racing class of the time was also known as ‘Junior’, which is how this model got its name. Unlike its predecessors, engineer Guido Rossi had given the Junior a modified frame design. Thanks to the adjustable Sturcher dampers and the Earles fork, the suspension was modern by the standards of the time. Weighing around 70 kg, it was capable of speeds of around 130 km/h. The fuel tank was designed by Donnino Rumi. The number plates were signed by Gianni Zonca, who rose to fame as a works rider, and Achille Rumi, the son of Donnino Rumi, who immortalised himself in Donnino’s characteristic handwriting.
