General information:
After Rumi achieved several successes in France at the 24-hour race, the special edition Bol d’Or model was launched onto the market. The few examples produced were primarily exported to England and France. The golden colour was a natural choice, as a gold cup had also been won in France. With a top speed of around 130 km/h, it was one of the fastest scooters of its time. Our example is fitted with typical features such as Z-handlebars and a 140 km/h speedometer. Of course, the two carburettors are even more significant, supplying the high-compression engine with sufficient fuel to ensure the ‘Ant’ really gets going.
