General information:
In 1955, the first Rumi Formichino models were sold by the Hohe Warte car dealership in Vienna. Our Formichino is one of these early models. It is recognisable by the tool compartment on the right-hand side and the design of the rear light. Marketed in the UK as ‘The Little Ant’ for 134 GBP, the ‘Ant’ was not available on the German market at the time. The Austrians, however, had a soft spot for these ‘Ants’. Highly prized by collectors, this ‘Ant’ still retains its original paintwork.
