This Wiesmann Roadster MF4 is presented in an exceptionally elegant and rarely seen configuration, featuring Grigio Nuvolari Metallic paintwork paired with a Pergament Nappa leather interior. It is a late-production example, first registered in March 2012, and therefore already equipped with the BMW N63 twin-turbo V8 introduced from 2011 onwards. The 4.4-liter engine produces 407 hp and delivers a maximum torque output of 600 Nm – figures that provide the relatively compact roadster with remarkable effortless performance.
The car comes with a traceable ownership history under the current owner. Documented maintenance work includes a rear differential oil change as well as a professional transmission oil flush carried out by ZF. The TÜV inspection was renewed in July 2025 without any reported defects and remains valid until July 2027.
Wiesmann was always something of a charming outsider within the German sports car landscape. While other manufacturers increasingly focused on digitization and perfection, the small manufacturer from Dülmen remained committed to classic roadster proportions, visible craftsmanship, and an almost anachronistic attention to detail. The combination of retro-inspired styling and modern BMW engineering made these cars both emotional and genuinely usable.
The MF4 represented an important step within the model lineup. Compared to the more purist MF3, the MF4 felt more mature, more powerful, and technically more advanced. Especially the later examples equipped with the BMW N63 twin-turbo engine are now considered particularly interesting collector cars, as they combine classic Wiesmann styling with the immense torque delivery of modern turbocharged V8 technology.
There are varying reports regarding total production numbers. What remains clear, however, is that the MF4 is an exceptionally rare vehicle – especially as a late-production example in this particular specification and color combination.
The Grigio Nuvolari Metallic finish gives this MF4 an impressively elegant appearance. Unlike many boldly configured Wiesmann models, this example appears intentionally understated and almost Italian in character. The sculptural roadster proportions – long bonnet, rearward-positioned cockpit, and short overhangs – are especially well highlighted in this color.
The car rides on 20-inch OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. According to the seller, the tires have covered only around 700 kilometers. Exterior chrome details as well as the carefully coordinated piping and stitching colors further emphasize the high-quality configuration.
Inside, the Wiesmann combines Pergament Nappa leather with grey carpeting and a grey soft top. The diamond-pattern quilting creates a classic atmosphere with a distinctly British touch. At the same time, details such as the “Chrome” interior package, aluminum door sill plates, customized speaker covers, and color-coordinated seat belts demonstrate the extensive level of personalization of this vehicle.
The overall design feels premium, tasteful, and deliberately far removed from standard production car configurations.
The MF4 is powered by BMW’s N63 twin-turbo V8 engine with 4.4 liters of displacement, producing 407 hp and 600 Nm of torque. Combined with the relatively low vehicle weight, this results in a driving character that feels both effortless and highly relaxed. Unlike high-revving sports car engines, the N63 delivers its power with remarkable composure.
Under the current ownership, several maintenance works have been carried out and documented, including a rear differential oil change and a professional transmission oil flush performed by ZF. The TÜV inspection was passed in July 2025 without defects.
This is a late-production vehicle first registered in March 2012. Among Wiesmann enthusiasts, these final production years are considered particularly desirable, as they combine the updated BMW twin-turbo technology with Wiesmann’s classic first-generation design language.
A traceable maintenance history under the current ownership is available.
This Wiesmann MF4 belongs to the kind of vehicles that are difficult to classify within traditional categories. On the one hand, it is a uncompromising roadster with enormous V8 torque; on the other, it is a handcrafted boutique sports car with an almost nostalgic character.
The combination of late production year, N63 twin-turbo engine, and exceptionally tasteful color configuration makes this example especially attractive. While many Wiesmann models were deliberately specified in extroverted configurations, this MF4 impresses more through elegance and understatement.
For collectors of modern handcrafted sports cars or enthusiasts of unusual roadsters, this MF4 represents a particularly appealing opportunity – not least because cars of this kind will most likely never be built again.
A Wiesmann has always been a little like a tailor-made suit with a V8 engine. And that is exactly what makes this late MF4 so fascinating. The twin-turbo delivers effortless excess performance, while the car itself feels as though someone combined British roadster romance with German engineering and Italian taste in colors. Grigio Nuvolari suits the Wiesmann astonishingly well – almost as if the color had originally been created specifically for this car.
