In 1965 Volvo presents the Amazon, a completely new model, quite different from its predecessors. The design is appreciated from the first second and the Amazon scores highly when it comes to safety. So it's no wonder that many people fall head over heels for the model. The Amazon is also a popular classic in the Netherlands, especially with owners who like to drive their cars. This Amazon fits right in that alley, in a neat condition and driving very well.

Volvo 121s are for driving, and that also applies to this good-looking Amazon from 1966. The dark green paint is the original color and in combination with the black wheels with original wheel covers, the two-door sedan gives a nice cool impression. The bodywork has already been sprayed and has some signs of wear or age spots here and there. Nothing worrying, nothing that catches the eye, but we don't use the term 'concours' here.
The interior is also very neat with some signs of use and wear. The black trim is all intact and so are the instruments, controls and gauges. A car to get into immediately, completely carefree as you are used to with an Amazon, and to enjoy.

Enjoying that is excellent with this Amazon, not least because a later B20 engine has been placed in the front. A little more content, a little more power. It is also the B20 B power source, which means that 100 hp is available. The Volvo is wonderful to drive, where you can enjoy the fact that you are on the road with a very sympathetic classic car without any worries. The bottom is solid and free of rust, the technical condition can be described as 'neatly maintained'.

An Amazon that is not only suitable for enthusiasts who want to take a pleasure ride every now and then, but certainly also for people who don't feel like driving a modern, boring car every day.
