Description

We are selling our well-maintained black Triumph TR250 Roadster, built in May 1968.

‘British Motor Industry Heritage Trust’ certificate available. According to the certificate, our TR250 has the original matching numbers engine and the original frame. This authenticity is highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts as it preserves the historic integrity and value of the vehicle.

We have owned this beautiful roadster model since 2018. Back in 2018, our TR250 was awarded a 2+ rating by Classic Data. After that, it was extensively optimised and further improved at no expense, and regularly serviced professionally. This TR250 is in perfect technical and visual condition. There should be no obstacle to obtaining a ‘veteran's licence’ in Switzerland through a cantonal inspection and registration. Our TR250 currently has German H registration.

Regular servicing with oil change (Castrol Classic) and oil filter, brake fluid change and bleeding was last carried out on 11 April 2025 by a specialist workshop. The statutory general inspection (TÜV) was only renewed in October 2025 and is valid for the next 2 years until October 2027 in Germany.

Among other things, this TR250 has a rare and expensive 5-speed gearbox from HVDA (worth €4,500). This is no comparison to a vulnerable overdrive gearbox. This TR250 also has a Surrey top (Mohair Soft Top Kit from Revington) and a hardtop roof.

Additional improvements, optimisations and renovations have an additional value of approx. €20,000:

·      5-speed transmission from HVDA (real 5-speed transmission, no vulnerable overdrive!)

·      Surrey top (Mohair Revington) and hardtop roof

·      New Suffolk leather seats/interior panelling from England in Beige Tan

·      High quality black wool carpets inside

·      New aluminium radiator

·      Mocal high performance aluminium oil cooler unit

·      Kenlowe high performance cooling fan

·      Kent 280° Fast Road camshaft

·      Fan manifold

·      Aluminium die-cast valve cover

·      Koni Classic Red Sport front/rear shock absorbers

·      Minator aluminium mounts with Vredestein Sprint Classic 185 HR15 tyres

·      Perforated front brake discs

·      Stainless steel Sport twin pipe exhaust system ‘Tourist Trophy’

·      123+ Tune Bluetooth electronic ignition distributor

·      New SU HS-6 twin carburettor systems from Burlen England

·      K&N sports air filter stainless steel housing
