SAAB 900 TURBO COMMEMORATIVE EDITION 1993

The Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition is the final, limited-edition series of the classic 900 model, created specifically for the U.S. market to mark the end of its production. Only 500 convertible units were built, all featuring distinctive styling elements – metallic Nova Black paint, unique alloy wheels with polished lips, a light-colored convertible top, special leather upholstery, and a walnut wood dashboard trim.

The presented example was imported to Poland from its original owner in the United States. After purchase, the car underwent a comprehensive restoration, including repairs to the rear bodywork and a complete respray in its original color. Simultaneously, a full mechanical overhaul was performed – the vehicle is fully operational and ready to drive. Extensive documentation of the restoration work is available.

The car is complete and retains all of its signature equipment, including the original tonneau cover matching the interior, and the factory alloy wheels fitted with new Michelin tires. The interior is finished in elegant light brown leather with dark piping – typical for this edition – accented by wood trim that contrasts nicely with the exterior color. The equipment list includes a power-operated soft top, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, cruise control, and a period-correct Blaupunkt stereo.

All Saab 900 Commemorative Edition models left the factory with a manual transmission and a red APC controller in the engine, allowing them to produce 185 horsepower. As a result, they are now considered among the most sought-after classic Saabs, representing both the brand’s unique engineering philosophy and its status as a pop culture automotive icon. This rare, well-preserved example, restored to original specification and fully equipped, is a truly unique offering on the market.
