1988 | Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3

This exceptional Porsche 911 930 Turbo was delivered on the 1st of January 1988 and supplied new by Malaya Garage (Billinghurst) Ltd. We previously sold this beautiful example back in 2021 to one of our regular customers when it had covered just 76000 miles. Accompanying the car is a comprehensive file complete with the original Porsche wallet, various Porsche handbooks, MOT's back to 1993 and spare keys. The original service book records its first service with Malaya Garage at 1233 miles and JCT 600 in Bradford began maintaining the car in its early life with services stamped at 5581, 12020, 22669, 29771, 35070 and 39485 miles in early 1993. Parkwood Porsche carried out the next service in late 1993 at 44155 miles and again in 1996 at 49603 miles. In 1997 and 1998 Rivervale Porsche serviced this car at 55095 and 59254 miles.

Between 1998 and 2002 the 930 Turbo covered a further 13000 miles (72,000 miles) and in 2003 the car changed hands, then staying with one owner between for over 13 years. It's from here the mileage really slowed down and the car transitioned into classic car life and over the past 18 years has been incredibly well maintained with invoices on file for a significant amount of work. Service history wise the book has been kept up too with stamps from Porsche specialists at 73637, 73960, 75190 and 75396 miles but the file of invoices is even more impressive.

Over the past ten thousand miles, over £23,000 has been spent on this car ensuring the car has been kept in outstanding condition. In 2003 the car was treated to new rear discs, rear pads, turbo intercooler sleeves and rear exhaust box, in 2007 treated to a new steering top bearing and gaiter, in 2008 the gearbox was stripped and rebuilt and in 2016 the car was serviced and fitted with front and rear bonnet struts, a new heater control box and both drive belts were replaced. After 13 years with one owner, the 930 changed hands in 2016 and has covered 1000 miles since. Whilst only covering little mileage, the owner made the decision to spend £15,000 with 911 specialists ensuring the car was first class throughout. This included a top end engine rebuild, cylinder heads were sent to specialists for valve guides and the engine rebuilt with new pistons. The turbo was rebuilt, as was the alternator and during this major program of work the air conditioning receiver dryer unit was replaced, the exhaust heat exchanges replaced and the shock absorbers re-conditioned.

Since the major program of work in 2018 the Porsche has been impeccably kept, and although minimal mileage has been covered it has been MOT tested each year. Throughout the Porsches recent ownership, the maintenance has received a no-expense spared approach. In preparation for a trip to Turin with the Porsche, the owner commissioned a full brake overhaul with a set of new discs and pads at a Porsche specialist along with £7,000 of receipts for work carried out. The seats were also treated to being re-covered in matching blue leather, photos of which will be updated in due course.

The Porsche has arrived with us in pristine condition with beautiful bodywork, gleaming paintwork and in nicely detailed, very well-prepared condition. The interior trim is beautifully presented representing an incredibly well-kept car, the engine bay is stunning and its clear the attention to detail has been second to none. On the road E237 PMK is outstanding, performance is tremendous with its rebuilt 3.3 engine and turbo performing faultlessly, the rebuilt gearbox is a delight to use, and general handling and braking is top class. This is a fantastic car to drive, it holds the road, it offers wonderful performance and a top draw driving experience, and importantly everything works correctly, the electrical system is excellent, and this 930 Turbo does not require any major work.

Structurally the car is superb with an excellent bodyshell, this is a car that will not disappoint and is ready for touring.
