EXTERIOR
This 911 is beautifully configured, as evidenced by the chosen rims. These Carrera Exclusive Design wheels (€2,542 extra charge) are still in good condition. Red brake calipers are visible behind the rims. The exterior is in good condition. A popular option on this car is the LED matrix headlights including PDLS Plus (€3,066): these incredibly bright beams are automatically controlled and adjusted for oncoming traffic.
INTERIOR
When you step into the club leather interior, you are welcomed by illuminated door sills. The interior also features cross-stitching on the instrument panel and door panels, as well as various decors and accents that embellish the interior of the 911. The digital radio is played through the optional Bose Surround Sound System, a premium audio upgrade with 12 speakers, more power, AudioPilot noise compensation and SurroundStage processing.
TECHNICAL
Under the bonnet is a 2,981 cc (3.0 L) bi-turbo 6-cylinder boxer engine, delivering 451 hp and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. The engine is linked to a refined 8-speed PDK automatic gearbox, which can also be operated via paddles on the steering wheel. A popular option is rear-axle steering, which improves manoeuvrability for greater ease of use in everyday driving and increased driving stability at higher speeds. With a top speed of no less than 306 km/h, this is no unnecessary luxury. Incidentally, this option was not available on the regular Carrera. All services have been carried out and stamped by Porsche Centre Rotterdam. The last service was carried out on 28 February 2025 at a mileage of 33,914 km and cost €4,760. This included replacing filters, oil and spark plugs. This car has therefore been excellently maintained by the dealer and is ready to drive!
GENERAL
The eighth generation of the iconic Porsche 911 has the type number “992” and was introduced in 2018. The first models rolled off the production line in 2019 and the 992 is still in production today. Compared to its predecessor, the 992 is 45 mm wider and now uses aluminium body panels. The 992 also features a new rear bumper with larger exhaust tips than its predecessor. The front of the car is designed to resemble the appearance of an early 911 in a modern way. The 992 models are equipped with electrically extendable door handles and LED headlights. In addition, all models have a continuous rear light bar. The interior has also been radically redesigned. The dashboard has a sleeker design and is reminiscent of the classic 911. The instrument panel consists of two 7-inch digital displays combined with an analogue rev counter, which is also a nod to the classic 911 models. The 992 uses rack-and-pinion steering, combined with MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link rear suspension. The 992 is equipped with wide rear wheel arches, which are standard on every model in the 992 generation. In previous 911 generations, this design element was mainly reserved for the more powerful versions. In addition, the car has 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear.
‘PORSCHE: There is no substitute’. Certainly not for this model, because this tastefully assembled and originally Dutch-delivered 992 Carrera S is the latest and current generation of the 911 and has been dealer-maintained.
