THIS 911

This US-delivered Porsche 911 S left the factory in 1974, finished exactly as it appears today — in stunning Guards Red with a black leatherette interior. In 1997, the car was imported to Europe and sold to Portugal, where it was well maintained since, supported by invoices on file.

The car currently holds a Portuguese registration and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming it as a matching-numbers example, along with a detailed file of invoices and documents. It enjoyed service at Porsche Centre Estoril and recently had a new battery, airconditioning serviced as well as its yearly maintenance done.

Thanks to careful ownership, the interior shows only light signs of use, reflecting both the inherent quality of the car and the attention it has received over the years. The seat has a small crack but door panels, dashboard, switches, and trim all present very well, with only minimal wear visible. A Momo steering wheel is currently installed but the original steering wheel is included in the sale. The windscreen appears to be the original from 1974 with delivery stickers still in place!

The paintwork retains approximately 70% of its original paint; which has aged perfectly and today presents in very attractive and honest condition. Importantly, the paint measurements show no filler nor repairs whatsoever, confirming that it has never suffered accident damage. It currently sits on original Fuchs wheels in perfect condition and fitted with Michelin tyres.

Chrome details and trim are nice and without any blemishes. The underside shows a clean and undamaged chassis, with traces of original factory wax still visible. Mechanically, the engine and gearbox perform as they should — free of heavy leaks or unwanted noises. The engine revs freely, and gear changes are smooth and precise.

This 911 S has matured incredibly well and today it is a highly usable and rewarding classic. It offers smooth and confident driving characteristics — when the accelerator goes down and the revs rise, it delivers that unmistakable 911 performance and character.

Perfect for Sunday drives, weekend tours, or local rallies, this Porsche combines timeless design, mechanical integrity, and genuine driving pleasure.

The car is currently registered in Portugal and is sold on behalf of a client.
