The Porsche 911 is Porsche’s flagship model. This two-door, high-performance grand tourer features independent rear suspension and a rear-mounted engine. Its iconic design was created by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche, grandson of the founder of the Porsche marque.

Since its introduction in 1963, the model has undergone continuous technical development, while its unmistakable styling has remained remarkably faithful to the original design for more than sixty years.

When it was unveiled at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show, the model was initially called the 901. However, Peugeot claimed the trademark rights to all three-digit model numbers with a zero in the middle, forcing Porsche to rename the car. It became the 911. Introduced to the market in 1964, it was powered by a 2.0-litre air-cooled engine producing 130 horsepower, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.

Over the years, engine capacity increased from 2.0 to 2.2 and eventually 2.4 litres. The 911 was available in several versions: the standard 'T', the comfort-oriented 'E', and the sporting 'S'.

This 1969 Porsche 911 S is one of those desirable sporting versions. It retains the 2.0-litre engine but produces a more powerful 170 horsepower. Finished in the beautiful dark red colour "Metal Red", it is complemented perfectly by the interior, trimmed in a combination of black leather and tartan cloth. The car is accompanied by an exact scale model built to replicate this particular example.

The car is also accompanied by an extensive history file. In 2021, it underwent a restoration carried out with great respect for its authenticity, supported by a comprehensive photographic report. In addition, a large collection of invoices, valuation reports, inspection reports, certificates and other valuable and interesting documentation is included.
