Chassis 112748 was registered new to its first owner, a resident of Eschwege, Germany on the 8th of February 1963 via Porsche Zentrum Fulda. The original specification was Ivory over red interior, the same colour combination it is presented in today per the Kardex. It was optioned with headrests, Blaupunkt Berlin Radio with two speakers and antenna. While the early history is unknown it is documented that the gearbox was replaced in 1967. The 356 Carrera was acquired by Peter Iversen whose company Peter Iversen Specialværksted in Denmark is one of the leading specialized restoration businesses of Porsche 356s in Europe. Peter acquired the 356 Carrera 2 2000 GS Coupe in the early 2000s and it remained in his ownership until our clients acquisition in 2015, the 356 Carrera was then the subject of a full concours level rotisserie restoration by Peter Iversen Specialværksted which completed in 2017. The 356 Carrera was fitted with speedster racing seats and a Webasto heating system, the original seats are no longer available. This remarkable 356 Carrera became part of a celebrated collection with an owner who has driven it across Europe racking up the entire mileage on the odometer of 15,543 kms, the original engine was replaced at some point during its life with an identical engine. It has been exclusively serviced and maintained by Peter Iversen Specialværksted and Porsche Classic Zentrum Kassel, which opened in 2025 and is the only Classic Zentrum in Europe at the moment.
