Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this rare low-mileage SL65 AMG Biturbo V12, which looks superb in its classic silver with black colour combination. The SL65 AMG had the lowest production numbers of any R230 variant and are highly sought after by serious collectors.

Its power plant is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 which produces 612 hp and over 1000 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, a record figure for the period. Driving the rear wheels via a five-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, the SL65 boasts tremendous outright pace, combined with impressive comfort and superb build quality. 0-60 mph acceleration is achieved in just 3.6 seconds.

The 12-cylinder engine is assembled by hand at the AMG engine facility – right next to the line where the supercharged AMG V8 for the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is produced. The ‘one man, one engine’ philosophy is reflected by the characteristic signature plate on the AMG V12 which bears the name of the specialist who assembled the engine and guarantees the highest standards of quality and workmanship.”

Our impressive SL65 AMG was supplied new by Mercedes Benz of South Africa in February 2007 and was imported to the UK in 2020. It has a very impressive history file complete with original driver’s instruction books, service invoices and its spare remote key. A 12-month comprehensive warranty will also be included.
