450SCL 5.0 from collection, orig. state, just as purchased back in 1979 by Dr. Franz Josef Bach  at Mercedes-Benz Aachen branch (First owner Bach was pers. Referent of chancellor K. Adenauer, general consul in Hongkong and german ambassador in Iran)

In 2012 at 136.000km restauration made by Fa. Kemmer&Hein using MB-original parts (extensive documentation available).

e.g. the seats were takenn appart to replace the cussion pads, and then when it came to the question of upholstery, it was decided to re-fit the original leather rather than new leather, since it ages perfectly well perfectly fits the car. New upholstery is available at any time and place, but the original one, telling about the car's life, i invaluable.

In 2020 I bought the car from a doctor and 107-collector.

In 2021 at 156.000 km complete revision of chassis, including any wearing paert whatsoever (struts, dampers, bearings, brakes, exhaust, ignition parts and -cables, throttle control mimic, idle control valve etc pp)  by Centrale Mechanique (using MB-original parts)

In 02/2024 at 158.000 km extensive Service according to MB-maintainance schedule by specialist

06/25 Service according to MB-maintainance schedule by specialist and TÜV (MOT).

serviced regularly at a specialist's, no home made handicraft, all repair and service documented, no (no!) rust

She looks georgeous thanks to unique color scheme, drives just like new, gearbox working perfectly and smooth. Turn key and enjoy. Everything is operative.

Sth personal:

I bought the car back in 2020 for my then 77 year old father, to say thank you and to give something back.

The car is ideal for this purpose: it is easy to operate, comfortable, absolutely reliable, easy to operate and fun to enjoy.

Last year my father passed away, and since that we barely moved it. We went to the sea once and to once Tyrol, and I took it to service.

It's a piity to see it stand in the garage all the time. I would love to see it back on the road in loving and caring hands.

Also I might want to buy sth different this time, maybe something italian. But space is limited (one of the pictures shows it).

So selling it is not urgent, and I would love to see it in good hands.
