Like its predecessor, the Dino 246 GT, the Dino 308 GT 4 does not yet show the usual Ferrari logo. It was not until May 1976 that the designation “Dino” on the model 308 GT 4 was replaced by “Ferrari”. With its extreme wedge shape and four seats, it was modern and very futuristic in appearance. In addition, this sports car was the first from Ferrari to be fitted with an eight-cylinder engine as standard. This new and robust power unit was used in various other Ferraris for many years. Only 1,332 copies of the pure Dino 308 GT 4 were produced.
Our Dino 308 GT4 was delivered in this rare and beautiful color combination in 1975 in Rome. He stayed in Italy until 2014 and then came straight to Germany. The interior is in its original condition and radiates the “zeitgeist” in its appearance and color. Technically, some of the original mechanics have been overhauled, so that the fast wedge from the 70s can hit the road immediately. The air condition helps the crew to keep a cool head. The mileage of less than 35,000 km is credible.
