1976 | Rover 2000 TC

A revolutionary design from Rover, awarded European Car of the Year in 1964.
It was compared at the time with the Citroen DS, due to its comfortable handling.
The combination of its 4-cylinder engine with two SU HS8 carburetors, 2000 cc  and its light weight (aluminum hood, roof and trunk lid), makes it a fast and comfortable sedan.

A 4-door sedan purchased 3 years ago in Italy and imported to Spain.
Always cared for and kept in garage.
Free of corrosion and in perfect condition.

Two years ago the engine, brake system, and interior (carpet and upholstery) were completely restored.
The mechanical restoration includes:

• Pistons, rings, connecting rod, bushings, distribution chain, chain tensioner, valves, oil seals: all new.
• Rectified cylinder head and engine block. New clutch.
• Accuspark electronic ignition.
• Brake system: servo, new master and slave cylinders. Reconditioned front and rear brake calipers with new pads, pistons, seals and hoses.
