Description

1969 Morris Traveller
Vin Number: M/AW5D124324M
Registration Number: HEF999G
This Morris Traveller comes to us in excellent condition & benefits from having been fully gone though by none other then Charles Ware of the Morris Minor centre. There are numerous bills from him & a plethora of correspondence attesting to the time & money that has gone into this car.
It is finished in Trafalgar Blue with the paint being in good condition all round. The wood work is all solid & rot free having been stripped back & refinished whilst at the Minor Centre.
This car goes absolutely superbly with an engine that clearly has been rebuilt & breathed upon. The car goes far quicker then it ought & is accompanied by a slightly fruit exhaust note. The gear box is a pleasure to use with like new synchromesh on all ratios.
The car cost £14,000 when purchased by the current aged vendor & frankly it is worth every penny of the asking price. I have never been in a better driving example. He looked long & hard prior to finding this excellent rot free survivor. The car has had its interior trim done & is in really lovely condition thoughout. An unbroken chain of MOT certificates dating back to 1982 come with the car backing up the 92,000 miles covered to date. This is a late production car coming from 1969 with production ending in 1971.
Fitted unobtrusively in the glove box is a modern stereo system & also an original hand book. An orange lever file contains the voluminous history file. Under the bonnet the car is in fine condition with a well detailed & tidy engine. It starts intantly with choke & settles down to an even Idle. It pulls very strongly in all gears.
This is an on the button car that wants for nothing whatsoever.
