Description

  • Matching numbers & colors
  • Manual gearbox
  • Ultimate driver's pagoda

Production of the Mercedes-Benz 230SL began in June 1963 and ended on 5 January 1967. The chassis was based on the W111 sedan , with a reduced wheelbase, double wishbone front suspension and an independent single joint. The dual brake circuit had disc brakes at the front and power-assisted drum brakes at the rear. The Mercedes-Benz 230SL was offered with a four-speed manual transmission or an optional, four-speed automatic transmission, which was especially popular in the US.

Our early 1964 Pagoda is the specimen everyone is looking for, fully matching and in very good technical condition. No expense was spared to restore this beauty back to its original glory according to the RNR quality label. The bodywork was given the original and beautiful bordeaux paint colour according to the rules of art, and the interior was also completely and carefully renewed. The original, matching numbers engine was also completely taken care of during the restoration, making this example not only look like new but also drive like new and make it immensely reliable. Exactly everything you want in a car.

This car has it all : fully matching numbers and colours, drives fantastic and the only thing really missing is its new driver who will continue to treat this car as if it were his own child. What are you waiting for?
