The Lamborghini Espada was created in the mid-1960s. As the first Gran Turismo Coupe with 4 full seats, the “sword”, as the Spanish word Espada is translated, was initially presented in the form of the Lamborghini Marzal. At the time, it still had a 6-cylinder engine in the rear area of ​​the vehicle and large wing doors with glass inlays, but this new concept impressed with its luxurious avant-garde and was able to win additional customers. The “Italian Rolls Royce” was a huge success with 1,217 vehicles built between 1968 and 1978.

The vehicle we offer was delivered to the Austrian tractor manufacturer Lindner in 1973 and remained in Austria with the second owner until 2012.

Since then, this Espada has been in collectors' hands and has always been serviced, but rarely moved.

This Espada impresses with its very original and preserved condition. The interior is almost completely original and the existing patina provides a very special and unreproducible flair after more than 50 years.

In addition, the color combination of dark red “Rosso Granada” and beige interior “Senape” looks elegant and timeless.
