For sale is an early Jaguar XJ12 Series I in rare left-hand drive configuration, with new TÜV and very well-preserved overall condition.
The Series I XJ12 was the world’s first four-door saloon powered by a V12 engine and is widely regarded as one of the most elegant and refined luxury cars of its era. This example is offered as an honest collector’s car in good driver condition (Condition Grade 3) — not a concours show car, but an authentic, highly usable classic with strong character and presence.
The car has been in long-term ownership and has been well cared for. The interior is a particular highlight: leather, wood veneer, dashboard, headliner and carpets are in very good condition and present extremely well.
The paintwork was renewed some years ago and today shows age-related cosmetic wear and light oxidation, especially on horizontal surfaces, consistent with periods of standing and storage. This has been intentionally left unrestored and reflects the honest, original character of the vehicle.
The legendary 5.3-litre V12 runs smoothly and quietly. The engine bay presents in complete, original condition with age-appropriate patina. The car is currently being fully recommissioned.
Key data:
An ideal classic for the discerning driver looking for an early XJ12 in authentic condition — with excellent substance, strong presence and outstanding driving comfort.
