Description

Do you like it "Very British"? Then you should give this Daimler classic a new home!

The elegant classic car with H registration not only impresses with its fantastic "green metallic/cognac" colour combination. Above all, it is its overall condition that speaks in its favour. In addition to a careful restoration of the bodywork and chassis, the electrical system has been overhauled and the engine completely reconditioned. Meaningful documents such as invoices and pictures are of course available.

The documents also show that the Daimler V8 250 was registered in England from its first registration in October 1968 until the turn of the millennium. The British classic was allowed to begin its second spring in the northern city of Bremen. A Jaguar enthusiast and collector living there bought the right-hand drive saloon and had the first major restoration carried out. The second German owner acquired the Daimler in 2017 and continued the conscientious care. This included the aforementioned major engine overhaul costing several thousand euros.

The care and maintenance measures have visibly and noticeably benefited the Daimler. The small V8 engine with a displacement of 2.5 litres and 142 hp starts flawlessly and runs smoothly and quietly. The three-speed automatic transmission connected to it shifts cleanly.

A glance at the interior shows that the previous owners of the Daimler have also taken great care here. The leather and wood are in good condition, some with a slight patina, which nevertheless does not detract from the overall impression. An important side note: the seating on the driver and passenger side has been replaced by the current owners for safety reasons with derivatives with headrests from a more recent Daimler. However, the original seats are still present and will be taken over when the vehicle is purchased.

You are welcome to convince yourself of the qualities of this dream car and arrange a viewing appointment with me. A test drive is also possible by prior arrangement by telephone.
