Description

Transmission: 4 gears, Manual gearbox
Interior colour: white

The Amphicar is a unique chapter in automotive history. It is a car that can sail and drive but is a compromise. It is therefore a boat that does not go optimally through the water and a car that is not among the best performing on the road. It is made of considerably thicker steel and therefore somewhat heavier. It has two propellers and steers with the front wheels. Any incoming water can be drained with a bilge pump. The engine is that of the British Triumph Herald. The Amphicar cost about as much as two Volkswagens at the time. About 3000 were made.

This car has been fully restored and looks like new. The color is red with a black and white interior. Ready to drive and sail
