Description
Starting life as a 4.3litre Charlesworth Saloon built 10/8/39 and sold to a Royal Naval Captain this car has an interesting history. Spending over a decade in the States and being partly disassembled it then joined a large car collection damaged when a snow laden roof collapsed and was subsequently repatriated to the UK. Becoming part of the Idris Francis collection, he rebuilt the car between 1995-7 painstakingly from the ground up, properly converted to a 10'4" short chassis and utilising a Rod Jolley VDP style tourer body. It retains its original chassis and Engine.
A well known car featuring in Films and TV programmes it is a delight to drive and represents excellent value for money.
Expect high performance from its 4.3 litre engine and triple SU`s providing 137 bhp and over 100mph.
