1988 | Alfa Romeo 33 - 1.3 S
Sports Wagon
Sports Wagon
Description
This Alfa Romeo 33 Sports Wagon is certainly unique. The car was delivered new in 1988 by the Alfa Romeo dealer in Geleen, Limburg, the Netherlands. Unique, of course.
The last owner, a true Alfa enthusiast, decided to sell it due to a lack of space.
We were pleased to acquire it, as an Alfa Romeo 33 Sports Wagon is already rare, but with this exceptional, demonstrable history, it's a fantastic car for the Alfa Romeo enthusiast who wants something special.
The car is in excellent mechanical condition and drives superbly. The 1.3-liter boxer engine naturally produces that recognizable sound.
The exterior shows some signs of wear, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car from 1988.
The interior upholstery looks neat.
The Alfa Romeo 33 is a compact car from the Italian brand Alfa Romeo. The 33 succeeded the Alfasud in 1983 in the compact front-wheel-drive mid-size car segment. The name 33 refers to Alfa Romeo's Tipo 33 racing cars from the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1985, a station wagon version of the 33 was launched under the name 33 Giardinetta, and a 4WD system was offered. In 1987, the 33 received its first minor facelift (Series II) and a 1712 cc engine became available. The 4WD system disappeared again, and the station wagon's name changed to 33 Sportwagon.
