Description:
The Porsche 997.2 GTS is regarded as the most dynamically focused and purist variant within the Carrera model range. With the factory power upgrade to 408 hp (X51) and a rear-wheel-drive layout, it combines outstanding sportiness with everyday usability. Compared to the standard Carrera, the GTS offers numerous technical enhancements as well as a distinctive appearance featuring a black trim package. Thanks to its rarity and its clear positioning between the Carrera S and the GT3, the GTS is a highly sought-after collector’s item—especially in this manual-transmission specification with a sporty factory configuration.
The vehicle offered here was acquired by the current owner in 2016 from its first owner and is therefore a two-owner car. It impresses with an exceptionally attractive and rare factory specification: manual transmission, full bucket seats, Racetex interior, 90-liter fuel tank, no sunroof, no parking assistance—a clearly focused 911. In 2017, subtle and professionally executed modifications were carried out by Manthey-Racing, including brake system optimization, a Clubsport roll bar, and 6-point harnesses. OZ wheels fitted with Michelin PS2 semi-slick tires are currently installed; the original 19" Turbo center-lock wheels are included with the car.
