A beautiful GT 1300, presented in its original and rare colour of Azzuro Le Mans over a Brown interior.
Fastidiously maintained & documented, with €5.955 invested over the last 5 years in servicing and upgrades.
As per the 1973 build year, boasting the lavish and sought-after Hellebore 1750 GTV steering wheel.
A Garage Maestricht alumnus, sourced by us in Italy and subsequently sold to a Belgian collector a couple of years ago.
Accompanied by its original jack, spare wheel, owner's manual and dedicated history file.
Presented fresh from sympathetic recomissining and on 4 nearly new tires.
A nice, and unmolested 105 GT that ticks the right boxes. Certainly one of the better ones out there!
The car on offer here is chassis no. AR1285254, believed one of just 5.976 GT's produced in 1973 and is presented in the breath-taking colour combination of Azzuro Le Mans AR348 over a Brown leatherette upholstery.
Originally delivered on the 15th of September 1973 to its domestic market in Italy, it is strongly believed chassis AR1285254 stayed in Italy throughout its entire life. Some years ago the car underwent a sympathetic restoration, where the body, paint finish and interior was brought back to the high standards it is presented with today.
It is the second time that we have this GT in stock, as we initially imported this GT from Italy back in 2021 and subsequently sold it to a Belgian collector soon after. After 5 years of fastidious ownership, where the customer invested over €5.955 in servicing and upgrades (invoices on file) we did not hesitate when we were offered the opportunity to buy it back in September 2026. The engine pulls a treat and has been fitted with an electronic fuel pump, the gearbox is butter smooth with no crunching synchro’s by any means, and the body of the car presents in great form as well with all body- and shut lines aligning correctly and consistently. The images speak for themselves!
An example of this quality does not come along very often, and we have been on the lookout for a while now for a great GT. The reason that the owner decided to part with this GT, was that he simply came of age and did not use it enough. In the 5 years of ownership, he covered about 1.000 km's a year with the odometer now indicating 48.800 km's.
Today the GT presents in simply splendid form (both technically as well as aesthetically), and it is a joy to drive. Back in 2021, we undertook some serious recommissioning works as the GT had not been used for quite some time. All works have been carefully documented either by imagery or invoices. The most notable works that have been carried out by Alfa specialist LTC Racing in Q4 2021 totalling around €4.000,-:
New clutch set (friction plate, Pressure plate & release bearing)
New clutch slave cylinder + connecting hose
New fuel tank
New exhaust piece + gasket (middle)
New fluids (including waterless coolant)
Instalment of performance air filter
Full carburettor rebuilt incl. tune-up and ignition reset
Camshafts set “on point”
Compression-test and general engine check-over. LTC Racing confirms the engine is strongly believed to have never been fully overhauled and that the 44k km’s is the cars’ original mileage.
The car is accompanied by all original accessories including the owners manual and the original jack. Currently suited with (exported) Belgian documents, ready to be reregistered anywhere in the EU or elsewhere. We do ship worldwide, so just reach out for a quotation. For the afficionado, we can also bring this GT up to personal taste by adding some bits like different wheels, lowering springs, exhaust etc.
Bite-Size:
A GT like very few others out there. Presented in simply superb condition in an utterly desirable (and rare!) specification. Fresh from recent recommissioning works and thoroughly checked-over by marque experts, if you’ve had your eyes peeled on one of these and were waiting for the right car to cross your path – the wait is now over!
