A new Elan
On offer is this mint condition Lotus Elan Turbo SE, internally called the M100. Lotus built just 3855 Lotus Elans between November '89 and July 1992. This is serial 6008 and it was built on the 10th of September 1990 in A23 Calypso Red over a Grey Leather w/ red band and red carpet interior. Its the first car of 86 built in this configuration. 

The complete documentation is present: owner's manual, service history, invoices and more. The original sales invoice is present: on the 30th of November 1990 Mr. Schlösser from Luxemburg bought his Lotus Elan Turbo for 1,55 million Luxemburg Francs at Lotus dealership Origir in Schlifflange. Mr. Schlösser owned this car up to 2021 and all servicing was done by the selling dealer Origer. It has a stamped service book + countless invoices. 2013 shows an interesting invoice: Mr. Schlösser had basically a complete engine rebuild done. Including all seals, thermostat, belts, tensioners, waterpump, clutch, all gaskets, piston rings, bearings. Coming in at a total of €9967,- in 2013 at 97.535 kilometers.

In 2021 the car was bought by the 2nd and current owner. He had a major refurbishment and restoration performed at the famous RS Garage in Portugal. The car was taken apart and repainted beautiful - a very high end and complete paintjob. All (weather)seals were replaced. The softtop was replaced. The wheels were repainted and fitted with new Hankook Ventus V12 tyres. New balljoints, shock absorbers, 4 coil springs, rear shocks, balljoints, a new stainless steel exhaust system, all filters, wheel bearings, tie-rods, 

The brake-system was replaced and upgraded. A set of 4-piston calipers was bought along with 4 new rotors, new EBC brake pads, steel-braided hoses and new brakefluid. Basically a completely new system.

All invoices from RS Garage are present as well as the parts from Lotus Specialist PNM in the UK. 
Also present: Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance. 

The car is amazing: It's the beloved Turbo model and with a complete history from day 1 to 2024.
Both technically and cosmetically in beautiful condition. There is not a scratch or flaw on the bodywork and the car makes an as-new impression.

Technically completely gone-through and with countless upgrades and new parts. 
New paint, new suspension, new brakes, redone wheels/tyres, new softtop and ofcourse the engine was rebuilt in 2013. The mileage is completely documented from 1990 to 2024 thanks to invoices, stamped service book and more.
