Rare 1965 Ford mustang K-Code (or HiPo) convertible for sale.

 This Mustang is a fully matching number high performance version with the 271 HP engine. Of all Mustangs made at that time, less than 1% had k-codes. The convertible version was even rarer than the Coupé or fastback. Although no real breakdown was ever made between fastbacks, coupe and convertible k-codes, it is believed that only about 200 convertible k-codes were ever produced. This makes this car one of the most sought after Mustangs. The engine blocks in these cars are the same as those used in the 65 and 66 Shelbys.

 The car is mechanically and cosmetically in perfect condition and drives great.

Manual (top loader) four-speed gearbox.

Engine block is numbered and matches the chassis.

Electrically operated soft-top, Rally-Pac and period (early production) correct Arvinode exhaust system that has a very nice V8 sound.
