 Mechanical Specification & Build

Extensively sorted for a reliable and spirited touring or vintage racing experience, this Riley 14/6 features a low-underslung chassis and a high-performance drivetrain:

·        Engine: Fully rebuilt 1633cc (14 H.P.) 6-cylinder engine; 60.3mm bore, domedpistons, and adjustable timing gears.

·        Gearbox: Manual "silent 3rd" all-helical gearbox; CWP gear ratio of4.55:1.

·        Braking & Handling: Original cable braking system with TypeCast Alifin drums; Hartford shock absorbers.

·        Wheels & Tires: 5.5/6.00 x 19” Blockley tyres.

·        Equipment: 26cm Marchal Trilux headlights and a foam-filled fuel tank (ideal for regulated events).

·        Interior: Newly trimmed in deep red leather (original brown leather interior included).

** History & Provenance**

·        Chassis no. 44T462 | Engine no. 12T462

·        Heritage: Retains its original UK logbook (YXG 714) documenting ownership throughthe mid-1960s.

·        The Build: After the factory Kestrel bodywork fell into disrepair, a multi-yearrestoration and coachbuilding project was commissioned in the UK, involving ateam of premier craftsmen and specialists.

·        Status: Residing in Canada since 2018; currently registered, displayed, and toured in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.

The car is accompanied by a significant cache of documents and spare parts, including:

·        Original UK logbook and extensive receipts.

·        Mechanical Spares: Triple SU carburetors, with manifold and fittings, plugs, magneto, rear axle shafts, spare CWP gear, bearings, starter, and various gaskets.

·        Additional Items: Spare rim, tubes, full set of 5.00x19 Blockley tyres, tonneau cover, Marchal trilux headlights and original brown leather interior.
