1995 | Porsche 911 Carrera

The 993 generation of the Porsche 911 was the final iteration of more than 30 years of development of the iconic air-cooled flat-six engine, for which the 911 is so famous. The 993 drove just as well as it looked, being the first 911 with a modern multi-link rear suspension and a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. With these features, the 993 was able to reach 0-60 mph time of around five seconds, and a top speed of around 170mph. The 993 was known for its unique style and design. It featured all-new headlights that were integrated into the body, giving it a more modern look. It also featured a curved windscreen and a redesigned rear spoiler, which improved both aerodynamics and aesthetics.

This 993 is a highly desirable rear wheel drive, manual gearbox example finished in metallic black which is rare. The car was specified with sport seats, a sunroof and has been in our vendor's ownership since 2017 with minimal mileage covered during this time. The car was taken to a highly respected Porsche specialist, RPM Technik, in June 2024 for a major service and some recommissioning, with various underside parts replaced including a new exhaust. The total invoice was £9,795 and a copy of this invoice can be provided to any interested parties. The engine was stripped down and had the rover cover gaskets and bolts, timing chain tensioner, power steering belt and various other items replaced, as well as new discs and pads. This is an excellent 993 in the specification to have, ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian. Supplied to auction with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until June 2026 and history file containing owner's books and a wealth of invoices showing careful maintenance throughout the past 30 years.
