Offered for sale is a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL project finished in Ivory over Burgundy leather. This early W113 Pagoda is equipped with its 2.3-liter M127 inline-six engine featuring factory Bosch fuel injection and is paired with a desirable 4-speed manual transmission.
The car is fitted with 14-inch Bundt alloy wheels, a black convertible soft top, and a black removable hardtop. The interior retains Burgundy leather bucket seats, matching dash and door trim, wood accents on the dashboard and center console, a heater, and a period Phillips push-button radio.
This 230SL is a non-running project and will require clutch assembly repairs before it can be driven. The engine turns over by hand, but the vehicle is not believed to have been driven since approximately 2015. As expected for a long-stored project, recommissioning and mechanical inspection are recommended prior to operation.
