This beautifully original Mercedes 280 SE Coupé was ordered new in 1969 by a diplomat stationed in Bad Godesberg at the time.

In addition to the electric sunroof, the order also included fog lights, front seat belts, power steering, Becker Grand Prix radio and the heated rear sunroof.

In the following years, the Diplomat mainly used the Mercedes Coupé to travel from his workplace in Germany to his home in Stockholm.

The original service booklet is available. The first maintenances were carried out in turns by Mercedes in Sweden and Germany.

Swedish MOT reports (Bilprovningen) are also available from the entire period. The low total mileage is thus documented.

After the death of the first owner, the 280 SE Coupé was passed on to his son. He cherished the car over the years and had it prepared for driving again by Mercedes in Stockholm in 2008 after a longer period of storage.

In 2022, a major service was carried out, including changing all fluids, spark plugs, new tyres and replacing the cylinder head gasket.
