Hilton & Moss are excited to present this rare and highly collectable Lotus Exige S RGB Edition at our showrooms.



The RGB Edition holds a very special place in Lotus history. Built in 2010 to honour the retirement of Roger Becker, Director of Vehicle Engineering for over 40 years, the car was conceived as a celebration of one of the companies most influential figures. Becker’s engineering input shaped many of Lotus most iconic road and racing cars, and the RGB Edition was his personal sign-off to the Exige line. Produced in very limited numbers, just 141 cars worldwide, this edition has since become one of the most desirable modern Exiges thanks to its specification and rarity.



Based on the Exige S the RGB was available as a 257bhp version of the supercharged 1.8-litre Toyota-sourced 2ZZ engine. Offering exhilarating performance with 0-60mph of just over four seconds and a chassis that exemplifies the very best of Lotus handling. Lightweight construction, sharp steering response and track-bred suspension ensure the RGB Edition remains one of the most rewarding drivers cars of its era.



As a commemorative model, the RGB came fitted with a host of unique details including special badging, a numbered build plaque signed by Roger Becker, forged wheels, carbon interior detailing and bespoke trim options, as well as air-conditioning. These touches elevate the car far beyond a standard Exige, making it a true collector’s piece.



A fully specified car, the RGB was designed to Roger's personal specification, with Roger taking ownership of car number 1. This specification includes all of the packs available which include the Touring Pack, the Sport Pack and the 260 Performance Pack.



This 2010 example has covered just 9,600 miles from new and benefits from a comprehensive service history with both main dealer and specialist support, ensuring that it has been maintained to the highest standards. The condition throughout reflects careful ownership, and it remains in highly original, and very tidy specification.



Finished in Aspen White, of which 21 of the 55 UK delivered cars were, the exterior is complemented by satin black forged lightweight wheels and other black exterior detailing. Black AP Racing brake calipers continue the theme. An all-black leather interior features Probax seats with carbon effect trim and a carbon fibre binnacle above the dashboard.



A detailed and comprehensive service history supports the cars history and care, and a perfect MOT history further supports the cars genuine mileage and condition. The car will be serviced upon sale for the new owner by Hilton & Moss, and supplied with a 12-month warranty.
