The Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was presented at the 1967 Paris Motor Show, and was inspired by the 500 Superfast but as a 2+2 in the tradition of the 250 GTE and 330 GT 2+2. With its elegant and imposing design, it was the first Ferrari to feature power steering and air conditioning as standard equipment, as well as a spacious luggage compartment and two proper rear seats. The car featured the famous 4.4-litre Colombo engine developing 320 bhp, and was designed by Pininfarina. Only 801 examples were produced between 1967 and 1971.

The example we are offering for sale is an original European specification vehicle - delivered new in Geneva (CH) - with power steering, airconditioning and optional Borrani wheels from new. The car come to France in 2002 and remained with the same owner, a British author living in the Tarn region, until 2015. The Ferrari was auctioned in 2015 and bought by the last owner - still in completely original condition. Because the car needed some love and attention anyway, it was decided to bring it to the Belgian Ferrari specialist l'Officina to start a complete restoration while retaining as much as possible from the original parts. This full restoration took almost 5 years and has been fully documented with detailed invoices totalling almost 170.000 EUR ! It is therefore not surprising that this Ferrari is in absolute top condition and undoubtedly one of the very best examples on the market. The interior is still completely original, giving the car that special feeling of a noble classic.

This true thoroughbred in a gorgeous colour combination is now ready for a new ownerr, who can purchase a superbly restored Ferrari at an attractive price, as a similar restoration would probably cost more than the current asking price today. It is a unique opportunity.
