Founded in 1968, Dax Cars has become one of the market's more recognised producers of Cobra replica cars. The Dax Cobra has steadily established itself as a much sought after classic sports car in its own right. The car's enduring popularity owes much to Dax's policy of continual product improvement and painstaking attention to detail. John Tojeiro, the original designer of the AC Ace chassis became a director of the company and the car was renamed the Dax Tojeiro.

This gleaming example of this popular marque is presented in metallic red with cream leather interior and burgundy piping with red carpets, all of which are in wonderful condition. Its striking paintwork is finished off with a wide silver stripe running from front to back, two hooped chrome roll bars behind each of the front seats. Its 4.2 Jaguar engine is mated to an automatic gearbox and the noise exits from chrome side mounted exhausts on each side (evoking the Cobra 427 look). Its leather clad dashboard shows the Smiths dials and push button start, evocative of the original Cobra from the 1960s. This is great head turner with a smooth Jaguar engine under the bonnet providing good power for those trips on the open road. Consigned by James Good
