Description

This stunning, show level Chevrolet Bel Air 210 Series Wagon has had just one owner in the U.K., a long term client of ours who has a stunning Lake District based collection of cars. Only wanting to acquire top class examples, and with nothing available at the time in this condition in the U.K., our customer has to purchase the Bel Air in the US and in 2024 it was fully registered with the DVLA as 954 XWE. This beautifully restored 1957 Bel Air is one of the unique Wagon, 4-door, 4-seat examples with a 4.6L engine and 3-speed Automatic Transmission. Making this even more special is its condition, it would cost at least double our price to restore one to this standard. Right throughout the Wagon it's clear to see true attention to detail has gone into the restoration, and maintenance of this magnificent example. The bodywork is exceptional with a gleaming paint finish, the engine bay is equally as impressive, as is the exemplary Yellow and Black interior trim.

This 283ci equipped 210 delivers lively acceleration, strong top speed, and that unmistakable small-block growl. The powerplant turns a practical family vehicle into something fun for weekend cruises with more than ample space for luggage. With its bold fins, chrome accents, two-tone paint scheme, and versatile wagon utility paired with genuine V8 performance 954 XWE offers the classic Tri-Five experience.

In 1955 alone 1.8 million 'Tri-five' Chevys were built and by the end of 1957 over 5 million had been produced. Of them all, the 1957 Bel Air is arguably the most desirable model with its distinctive front end and rear tail fins. This example is truly one to be appreciated by all admirers of Americana.
