Description:
The vehicle presented here was delivered via ‘Garage Fischer & Cie.’ in Switzerland and was owned by ‘Countess Margit Sigray’. After her death in 1984, the dealer Tom Barrett sold the car to its second and last owner, ‘Dr. Hector Escamilla’ of San Antonio, USA. After 33 years and very little use, he sold the Aston through Bonhams, Monterey in 2019.
With a mileage of just 25,000 km and in sensational original condition, the vehicle returned to England, where it was meticulously restored by renowned experts like Spray Tec Restorations, RS Williams and Bodylines, preserving its originality down to the last detail. The work carried out is very well documented, including numbers report, among other things.
With its short wheelbase, lower body line, covered headlights and 16-inch wheels, this DB4 Series IV resembles the significantly more expensive DB4 GT. An absolutely exceptional vehicle, which, according to Stephen Archer, is said to be the best Aston Martin DB4 in the world.
