This is a truly exceptional 1951 Indian Chief, one of only 25 units personally sent by U.S. President Harry S. Truman to the last Shah of Persia, Reza Pahlavi.
Its provenance makes it one of the rarest Indian motorcycles in existence.

This motorcycle is the 1350cc version, far rarer than the standard 1300cc Chief produced in the same period.

The bike is a genuine matching numbers example:
frame and engine share the same serial number, a crucial factor for collectors and museums.
