At the 1996 New York Motor Show, the new Jaguar XK8 sports car was presented as a coupé and a stunningly beautiful convertible. Its design was reminiscent of the Jaguar C, D and E types and the XJ 220. The XK8 immediately won over potential buyers. The brand-new V8 engine fitted perfectly into this concept. The Mercedes-Benz SL 500 was clearly the target. From 1998, the supercharged engine offered an alternative for significantly more power. The result was called the Jaguar XKR.

Our Jaguar XKR Convertible has German registration. It is now in its second ownership after the first owner family. According to the owner, the odometer reading of 67,000 km is the actual mileage. Spare keys and a service folder are available. This dream convertible is almost as good as new and fits into the world of classic cars as a young classic.
