Very beautiful 1960 Jaguar MK2.
2.4L six-cylinder, manual gearbox with overdrive, right-hand drive.
Approx. €40,000 invested over the last 10 years.
New paintwork in the original colour Midnight Blue. The interior woodwork has been refurbished. The carpets, headliner, and door panels are new (from Aldridge Trimming). The complete front axle has been restored (blasted and powder-coated, wear parts replaced). New head gasket, along with new camshaft bearings and bucket tappets. Everything was cleaned, blasted, polished, or repainted. The cooling system, ignition system, and fuel system have been overhauled. The fuel tank is new, and the tyres and hoses have been replaced. A lot of work has also been done on the electrics: new wiring, new headlights... etc.
Unfortunately, there is a vandalism scratch on the rear right wing, and there is a small rust spot at the very front of the right sill that needs attention.
It won't make it to a Concours d'Elegance, but it's a truly lovely car for the weekend.
The Jaguar starts immediately and is ready to drive. New TÜV inspection (German MOT) valid until 05/2026.
