1964 Jaguar E-Type roadster, 3,8 litre with a beautiful opalescent maroon exterior.

Beige leather interior with the original bucket seats.

A black soft-top and also a rare original hardtop in Opalescent Maroon.

Matching numbers 3.8 engine with the triple SU carburetors.

This 3.8 ltr XK-engine perfpoms very well.

Date of manufacture 17th of January 1964, the delivered to the ditributor in New York, USA.

The first owner listed on JDHT Certificate, owned the car for 18 years and the car was till 2012 in possession of the second USA owner .

It was stored in USA from 1972 till 2012 and the odometer showed then only approximately 17.700 Miles.

The car was a ‘barn find’ by a Dutch Jaguar enthusiast, and exported to The Netherlands.

This very nice roadster was restored by its dedicated Dutch owner during 2012 to 2016.

Every step in the restoration process is documented in a book that will come with the car.

Including many invoices and documenation.

Much of the work on the car, like the new paint, engine and gearbox overhaul was carried out by experienced professionals.

The body was totally stripped to bare metal and the car was repainted in its original color Opalescent Maroon ,

The engine and drivetrain were rebuild, petrol tank renewed, brakes and servo were upgraded , modern cooling fan was installed,

The rear axle was modified with a 3,07 Differential..

It was driven approximately 13.000 miles , all by 1 carefull owner, after its restoration and has been well maintained over past few years.
