A magnificent example of one of the most sought-after Alfa Romeo GT models – the 1750 GT Veloce Series 2 – featuring the perfect aesthetic for the classic Bertone coupé. Connoisseurs prize the 1750 for its exquisite exterior and interior details: the front with its distinctive and well-known heart-shaped Alfa grille complemented by four headlights, and the elegant compact rear lamps. Inside, the model stands out significantly thanks to its elegant dashboard featuring large, separate, glass-covered instruments reminiscent of 1960s Ferraris and Maseratis. The long center console completes the cabin’s atmosphere – exactly as a proper GT should be. Many consider this the finest interior design for the Alfa GT’s of the 105 series. Mechanically, it is a delight as well: the renowned all-aluminum 1750 cc “Nord” twin-cam engine, a razor-sharp 5-speed gearbox, disc brakes all around, and high rear axle ratio results in a true thoroughbred driving experience. This particular car was sold new in Sweden and has spent many years in Denmark. We have just completed a full body restoration to the absolute highest standard, and the car now presents in near-perfect condition, finished in its beautiful—and original—Pino Verde paintwork. We believe the original interior possessed a quality worthy of preservation, with a patina that suits a 55-year-old classic, hence we chose to keep it exactly as it is. The car drives absolutely superbly—light and elegant—with a wonderful intake note from the twin Weber carburetors.
