In 1967 Ducati put on sale its first road bike equipped with its SOHC Desmodromic race system, the Mark III. The first models were available in 250, 350 and 450 cc versions. The Mark III was based on the “narrow case” single-cylinder model. This first model, in particular, is considered one of the greatest examples of Italian design and is highly sought after by collectors all over the world.
