1972 Dnepr MT-9 with sidecar – running, unrestored and full of authentic character.
Offered for sale is a genuine 1972 Dnepr MT-9 sidecar combination, preserved in unrestored condition with authentic age-related patina and visible signs of more than five decades of use.
The motorcycle is currently running and rideable. It starts, runs and moves under its own power.
The vehicle is largely complete and includes the sidecar, spare wheel, windscreen, period instrumentation, twin seats and the other components visible in the photographs.
Original vehicle documents are present.
Engine number 20635 is clearly visible on the motorcycle and corresponds with the number stated in the original registration document.
The odometer currently shows approximately 72,241 km. This is the displayed mileage only; the actual total mileage cannot be independently verified.
The motorcycle has deliberately not been cosmetically restored. The paintwork, metal surfaces, frame and sidecar show genuine age-related wear, scratches, surface corrosion and patina. These imperfections are part of its authentic appearance and are clearly visible in the photographs.
This is a very interesting opportunity for an enthusiast of classic Soviet motorcycles, whether for preservation in its authentic condition, sympathetic restoration, or simply as a characterful and running sidecar motorcycle rather than a dismantled project.
