Very special panoff restored Oval Beetle from 1956
This Oval Beetle was panoff restored between 1994 and 1998 and there is documentation of this. The color is the original paint color L324 Polar Silber. The car was restored by Mr. Salo from Finland completely to his liking and he did not economize on anything. The car has been converted from 6 to 12 volts. The interior has been reupholstered in 2014, the front seats are from Golf MK I, the steering wheel is a reproduction classic steering wheel, the radio is a 60s Blaupunt radio with quick-select buttons , completely repaired + MP3 input. The engine is VW Typ 2/T3 CT engine, 1,700 cm3 (drilled 1600 cm3), hydraulic tappets, Street Eliminators cylinder heads with 42 mm valves, Dellorto dual carburetors, CSP Super-Competition stainless steel exhaust system with heater. 89 hp / 150 Nm measured on roller bench. 2-circuit brakes drum rear, disc brakes front, aluminum rims with original bolt-on distribution, tires in good condition.
