Under the current octogenarian ownership for 30 years; simply put this car has been maintained without regards to cost having an open cheque book approach. Mileage is a warranted 93,000 from new with every MOT since new in the voluminous history file. The car drives like new & presents beautifully.
In recent years the Gear box has been rebuilt, New Exhaust manifolds installed, Inner arches done, Full high quality respray, new everflex roof covering, new Windscreen, radiator re-cored, Updated halogen lights, New Fuel Pumps, fully rebuilt suspension to name but a few of the items.
The car is resplendent in chrome yellow with a maroon everflex roof. To the interior is deep purple velour trim; a costly special order when new. The car drives like new with a superb undulating ride & seamless gear changes. The air conditioning blows ice cold & all the heating controls work as when new. THe interior woodwork in burr walnut is also in lovely condition.
Frankly I would rather have a slightly higher exmple like this that has had all the money spent upon it rather then a lower mile car lacking in bills & history. This example is very striking in an elegant 1970's sort of way.
