1972 | Mercedes-Benz 350 SLC

For sale due to lack of time to give the car the time, love and attention it deserves.

This SLC 350 (Coupe variant) is equipped with the well-known 3.5 liter V8 and in this case is coupled to the rare manual gearbox. This makes this car a wonderful driver's car, sufficient power, nice torque and a nice manual gearbox.

There are a number of plus points to this car:

• Recently serviced in-house (incl. replacement of air filter).

• Rear part of exhaust pipe and silencer + suspension rubbers new.

• Engine in excellent condition.

• Car shifts great.

• All counters and meters work properly.

• MOT exempt.

• Road tax exempt.

• Cheap in classic car insurance.

This car is not in top condition and therefore also has a few points here and there:

• Rust bumps above left headlight.

• Rust bumps below rear window.

• Rust formation at a scratch in the roof.

• Entry damage at the driver's door.

• Pull button handbrake is unfortunately broken so handbrake is currently unusable.

Most of these things are relatively easy to repair or update, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do this at the moment. Due to the version with the manual gearbox, this car is so rare that the car deserves this in my opinion.

In short, a cosmetically and technically neat car, certainly not perfect but the price is accordingly. Ideal as a classic daily, holiday car or long-distance cruiser.

The car could also possibly be ideal to convert into a car to be used for touring, rally (possibly even speed rally), map reading competitions, or recreational puzzle tours.

It is a car that is now 53 years old, what you see is what you get.
